After I get some aftermarket wheels and window tint this car will look thousands more than I paid. The trunk is nice and huge, yet appears small on the outside. I bught this car used in October and I love it. Though the Jetta is built in Mexico now as was this , and the newer model years have gotten away from the high-quality German parts, the has the solid Volkswagen legacy and engineering without many drastic changes that they've made lately cheaper parts, less German-inspired design. Used Car Value excellent condition.

I love all the little extras that you get on a European car. I love the gas mileage, about 29 miles highway. Also the heated leather seats. Not a heavy ride but I guess that helps on the gas mileage.

Best Car Ever — If you are looking for a great car at a great price this is it! I have , miles on it and never a serious mechanical problem Love everything about it! Lots of horsepower, comfortable, great in the snow with snowtires and I had a pretty serious accident and I walked away without a scrape!

The Wolfsburg Edition trim package is exceptional. This is the 3rd VW I have owned. The first 2 were 70's era Beetles. They were very reliable and that influenced me in deciding to purchase this car. I bught this car used in October and I love it. It handles great, gets great gas mileage and it runs like a bat out of!!!!

Love the automatic-standard option. I don't have any idea about the cars maintenance history. I have had a couple of warning lights come on.

Great Car — I have owned two Jettas, a and Both are excellent vehicles. Good pep to the engine, but not too much so that young drivers can get in trouble.

Great brakes with quick stops. The seats are firm, but very comfortable for a long drive. I routinely take this car on hour drives with no fatigue or aching back. Trunk is good sized, for the vehicles. Comfortable seats, with no fatigue on long trips. Firm ride, and plenty of room in the front and back for all people. Though the Jetta is built in Mexico now as was this , and the newer model years have gotten away from the high-quality German parts, the has the solid Volkswagen legacy and engineering without many drastic changes that they've made lately cheaper parts, less German-inspired design.

Owners new to VW brand may and probably should be put off by the cost of maintenance at a local dealer. I was fortunate enough to find a local mechanic who specializes in only VAG Volkswagen Auto Group vehicles and charges a lot less. However, even at dealer prices, regular maintenance is critical to longevity of this vehicle.

As my mechanic says, only two things will stop this car: This car was my first Volkswagen and definitely won't be my last. When performing VW-recommended maintenance, it only requires an oil change ever 10, miles.

It is a breeze to drive, park, and get around in. Stereo sounds great and it has a ton of space in the trunk. With VW's base carrier bars, I've added bike racks, transported home a foot extension ladder, and can add carriers for just about anything if needed. I'm also very fortunate to have an ASE-certified VW mechanic in my area who's not affiliated with any car dealers. If you go to a dealer, maintenance is very expensive.
